MVAA is seeking a full time Operations Supervisor; EMS background required. The supervisor will be responsible for daily operations of MVAA as well as creating an environment in which human, technical, and physical resources of the organization are utilized in a manner consistent with the needs of the communities it serves. MVAA is comprised of a blend of paid and volunteer staff working collaboratively to provide quality patient care to the citizens of Addison County. Middlebury is home of Middlebury College, a prominent liberal arts school founded in 1800. Due to the presence of the College, there is an element of culture that is unique for a community our size. The location is close to many great skiing areas and beautiful Lake Champlain is only 15 miles away. Vermont's rural landscape makes for excellent cycling, hiking or jogging terrain. The schools in the area are exceptional making this a wonderful and safe place to raise children. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join a professional group of pre-hospital healthcare providers in a picturesque setting with an annual call volume of 1600 calls. MVAA was proud to offer support to the train derailment incident in Middlebury. We used our ambulances for stand-by duty and our heavy rescue for lights at night. For more information, WCAX-TV




MVAA received the Ambulance Service of the Year Award for 2007.

Wedge Murdoch, MVAA President, received the EMS Quality Improvement Dedication Award for his 37 years with MVAA.

Penny Supernaw, one of the MVAA paramedics, received the Advanced Life Support Provider of the Year Award.
